Where ever you might travel on the world wide web, there's a chance you'll bump into a
"Pommerlis" and you might wonder about who this "Pommerlis" character is. Well, that's not so easily explained.
My real name is Josephine and I was born in 1966 in The Netherlands. Yes,....I'm a Dutchie,....and if you know your arithmetic you've calculated my age
by now.
One of my big hobbies is writing and the name Pommerlis comes from one of the characters I created once. Pommerlis is an Elf and he was born on one summers
evening when I sat behind my desk, staring out of my bedroomwindow and a pen hanging out of my mouth.
Since a couple of years I got into this computer thing that I didn't know anything about. By now I build my own website, learn about HTML and CSS. But most
of all I enjoy Computer Graphics.
Started out with Paint Shop Pro and moved on to 3D Graphics with Poser. I still wish to learn Bryce & Terragen. It's becoming a real addiction by now.
Oh well, did my grandmother do knitting as a hobby and my mother was good with crafts, I have the computer as a hobby.
I love life, I have enjoyed and still enjoy every minute of it. Wether it bring me good or bad times, this is most wonderfull and breathtaking place. And
though my body is slowly getting older, my spirit stays rather young.....like I still am 18.
That does give some problems sometimes and last year I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Honestly speaking,...I didn't and still don't accept that.
Esscpecially not the part in wich the doctor said: "There's nothing we can do about it."
My grandparents tought me alot about medicinal plants & herbs so I look for some help there wich is another great hobby of mine, gardening. Allthough I
don't have a real garden, I live in an appartment, I have alot of greenlife that I like to take care of.
I live together with my girlfriend allready since 1990 and together we have 3 cats who basically rule the house. Wich is what cats do. We don't have any
children but alot of nephews & nieces in all ages by now.
What can I tell you more? Hmm, I just adore music in any form but rock is my alltime favorite. Because of my love for music I used to dance fanatically, ballet
and all but that is a "used to do" and I don't like looking back to much.
I'm looking around for a new kind of sport for me, don't know yet what exactly. I think it'll be Tai-Chi or something like that.
That's it, my life in nutshell as it is today. Any questions? Feel free to ask.
Greetz from Josephine.
-aka- Pommerlis.

Pom, the Navy is everywhere. Especially the SEALS. Did you ever see the commerical where they show the wave come in on the clean beach and when it goes out it leaves half a dozen sets of footprints. Then it comes back in and wipes them out? That's just the way we are....Ya never see us coming.
Bye the way....The Frogfur comes from the fact that I was a Frog Man before we became SEALs. I also happen to have a hairy chest. One day one of the guys commented on a mission I had led that it had went off "Finer than "Frog Fur," from that time forward my nickname or "Handle," as they say, became Frogfur.

Some very nice artwork, Pom! Nice art always draws my attention. When I was young I used to sketch all the time. Later I got into oils and water colors, charcoals and the like. But sketches were always my favorite. I never could master any of the computer stuff. I don't know, it just didn't work for me. I was good with a pencil, charcoal, even an airbrush, but not with a mouse or pixel. Other people do my computer art for me.
Nice site.
All of a sudden I seem to be seeing Norway everywhere....After never seeing anyone from there. It's kind of surprising to suddenly in the middle of a large group of people from one place. But life is like that. Things happen in surprising ways or it wouldn't be any fun at all.
